While I love the look of embroidery on dresses I sometimes feel that it may be too over the top, too “vacation” style for every day wear. These two options are perfect for daily wear, the casual backyard party or even dinner out (very versatile).

H&M Embroidered Dress

Blue and white dresses are a closet staple for spring and summer so these two dresses fall right on trend. I love the belted detail on the H&M dress as it cinches the waist to give definition that is often lost with a flowy maxi dress.

I love a great trend but I don’t love spending a lot of money on something that may be fleeting. These belted faux leather pants are very cute and only $25. The paperbag style is so flattering. It draws attention to your waistline and creates balance between your upper and lower body. I love that these shorts are a denim material making them slight more structured than a typical linen paperbag short.

Confession time, I am a sunglass-aholic. There I said it, ugh I feel so much better now. I’m glad we could be honest with each other 😆. It’s true though. I have so many pair of sunglasses that range from drugstore ones to designer but I’ve never owned a pair of polarized sunglasses.
