Mom jeans styled 6 ways

Lets face it, mom jeans are here to stay and not just because Gen-Z says so. They’ve been creeping in to every day style for the last year or so and are currently most women’s go to denim (despite what many men would prefer) Jumping in to a new denim trend can be a little intimidating so I put together 6 different looks with the same pair of Mom Jeans from Abercrombie to help you with your decent in to the mom jean trend. I’ll take you from causal to date night and everything in between.

Love where you live – a series- Salted. on the Harbor

A few weeks ago my husband and I were able to sneak away for a little date night. Between work schedules, finding a babysitter and COVID these have been few and far between the last few months. I had been seeing on my Instagram advertisements for a new restaurant in Northport and it looked really cute so we decided to try it out.

Mix and Match neutrals and denim from Express

Plaid Car Coat | Boyfriend Denim Coat | Textured Double Ruffle Top | Super High Waisted Twill Ankle Pant | Metallic Polka Dot Tiered Balloon Sleeve Top | Textured Puff Sleeve Crew Neck Top | Ribbed Long Sleeve Maxi Sweater Dress | English Factory Puff Sleeve Mini Dress | Bb Dakota Open Front Sherpa Jacket | Super High Waisted Acid Wash Raw Hem Slim Ankle Jean | Plaid Peak Lapel Boyfriend Blazer | Ribbed Puff Sleeve Stretch Cardigan

I love a good neutral that can be dressed up for a holiday or date night or dressed down for day to day wear. All of these can be mixed and matched to create numerous different outfits. These three jackets are staples for the fall/winter season.

October 11, 2020 – Style

getting back to my love of fashion

In all honesty, I am not the most stylish person. I am real life, working mom with two kids, easy casual style. I work full time as a Dental Hygienist and for the last eight years have spent my days in grey or black scrubs. Not exactly exciting style.
