I first started getting into Podcasts about 6 or 7 years ago. My cousin (Hey Anna!) recommended checking out Serial and I was hooked. I’m pretty sure I binged it in a couple days. I found the story to be so crazy and interesting and the fact that he was still fighting for his freedom only intrigued me more. I recently started listening to podcasts instead of the radio and I’ve found some great ones. Now with the kids though I can’t always listen to them because Disney Princess music always wins 😂 however, these are ones that I’m currently loving.
1. In The Dark season 2. – This story reminds me of serial, it’s about a man fighting for his freedom after being convicted of a crime he says he did not commit. Coming from a law enforcement family it’s hard to feel like this man was set up but hearing the story it’s also hard to not feel like people had a vendetta against him.
2. Dr Death seasons 1 and 2. My friend Jakki recommended season one and I was obsessed with it. Season 2 just came out so I can’t binge it and it’s killing me having to wait for the next episodes. This one really makes your question doctors 😬 It’s crazy that medical professionals can be so untrustworthy.
3. Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard – Show me someone who can do a great interview and I am hooked. This one actually surprised me but I absolutely love his interviews. They are thought out and not generic and I’m always surprised but what he can get people to talk about.
4. Just B with Bethenny Frankel – I love Bethenny Frankel. I think she is a no nonsense call it like you see if kind of girl and she’s been doing amazing things with her charity work. Her personality 100% comes across in her interviews and I love that she keeps it real regardless of who she is interviewing. It often sounds like old friends catching up which I love.
Are you a podcast aficionado? I love hearing recommendations for new ones to check out so if you have one leave it in the comments 😊
