I don’t know about you but prior to having kids I never liked matching with people. In high school I never jumped on the “all of my friends wear the same things” train, my husband and I rarely coordinate our looks on date night or when going to weddings and even now, the thought of constantly matching my daughter and son or the kids to my husband and I is not my cup of tea. I love a great Splurge vs Save! These two dresses are both great options and it truly comes down to price point. Embroidered dresses are popping up everywhere this spring/summer season. I love that the embroidery on these dresses is subtle and classic.

While I love the look of embroidery on dresses I sometimes feel that it may be too over the top, too “vacation” style for every day wear. These two options are perfect for daily wear, the casual backyard party or even dinner out (very versatile).
Blue and white dresses are a closet staple for spring and summer so these two dresses fall right on trend. I love the belted detail on the H&M dress as it cinches the waist to give definition that is often lost with a flowy maxi dress.
